Our Policies
Our policies help us run a safe, educational,
and fun environment. They are in place for the best care to be provided
to you and your children.
- Parent/Teacher Conference: We are interested in any issues you may have,
please do not hesitate to set up a meeting with us to discuss them. We always
want to hear from you, however we prefer appointments outside of business hours.
- Non-discrimination: We are a facility that embraces the idea of equality.
We do not discriminate against any race, creed, religion, or color.
- Open-Door Policy: We encourage participation and feedback from parents.
We maintain an open door policy.
- Toilet Training: I will be more than happy to help with potty training,
provided that it is not done before the age of 2.5 years. Parents should initiate the
process at home first, whether it is over a weekend or during vacation. I expect
parents to work with me in this process, which means once potty training is initiated,
I need the child in training pants or pull-ups at all times.
- Discipline: The techniques we use are redirection, time out, and removal of
privileges.
- Special Circumstances: We do occasionally accept children
for drop-in care, if I have any space available. If your child does
not attend childcare, there is a chance that spot will be filled. So, if
you change your mind and your child will be attending childcare, I require
that you give a minimum of 48 hours notice. So, that I can adjust the
schedule appropriately.
